Two sessions

Well, somewhere in between this post and the last post, I was able to play about 100 hands, and lost pretty miserably, mostly due to one horrible beat, but due partly to some pretty shoddy bluffs I attempted. I lost about $80, and quit before I went on tilt.

That was also the day I decided to move up a level. Instead of playing at $0.25/$.50 blinds, I moved up to $0.50/$1 blinds. For those of you that don't know what that means, the price to 'stay in' at the table went from $0.75 to $1.50 every circuit of the table. It also means that everyone has about double the chipstack, and that the level of play is generally a lot better.

I've also noticed that people play quite a bit more aggressive than in the last level, and that there are far less people willing to throw me all their money. My money wins are all hard-won, and if I'm not careful all the time, I can bleed chips out REALLY fast. That being said, here are the stats for this session:

I played FullTilt, 4 tables, at $0.50/$1

Statistics for 427 Hands
Street Saw Saw/Total
Flop 107 25%
Turn 50 12%
River 35 8%
Showdown 21 5%
Street Won Won/Saw Won/Total
Pre-flop 6 1% 1%
Flop 18 17% 4%
Turn 7 14% 2%
River 7 20% 2%
Showdown 8 38% 2%

Money in account at start: $428
Money in account at end: $471
Full Tilt Points: 5014.95
Music Listened to during session: Rancid: Indestructable and Rancid: Lets Go

Overall, I think I played break-even poker and got lucky a little bit at the end, I hope I can start playing well enough to beat this level, I REALLY want to get into the $1/$2 game as fast as I can, but I know I need to learn a LOT more first. I ordered a no limit cash game book last night, hopefully that'll help plug a few of the gaping holes I have. I just need more playing time, practice helps quite a bit.

Well, thats about what I have to say, you guys behave yourselves, I have a mission in a few hours, goodnight.
