Well, tonight was pretty crazy. I went to La Center again and played the $4-$40 spread limit game. The moment I entered the game I knew the night would be stressful, and if I went card-dead, I really wouldn't be able to do anything at all. Needless to say, I lost $200 in under half an hour, which is actually sort of a record for me. I think I've only done that in poker like once or twice online, $200 being a reasonably large sum of money for my level of play.
Anyways, the players were awful, I lost one hand where I had pocket 4's and spiked my four on the flop... and had a guy betting into me the whole time. Anyways, I was more than happy to get all my money in on the flop and what does the guy have? K high. I can't lose unless he catches runner runner J-T for a straight. haha, need I tell you more? That was like the 4th hand I played.
So I bought in for my 3rd hundred for the night and said that was it, if I lost that, then tonight wasn't my night and I would go sulk at home and comtemplate why I want to do something this volatile for a living.
I ended up flopping a full house a little while after that and raked in a $290 pot, which basically meant I was back to even. After that I fluctuated a TON, mostly between the $200 and $300 levels. I eventually decided the table was too stressful, my brain was starting to get tired, and at least I had a small profit. So... that was my amazing experience at La Center. Stats? fine...
Cash Bankroll Starting Balance: $1200
Cash Bankroll Ending Balance: $1300
Absolute Poker Balance: $115.64
Full Tilt Balance: $807.60
Plus or Minus for the night: +$108
Plus or Minus for December online: +$85.65
Plus or Minus for December live: +$570
Plus or Minus for December: +$655.65
As a quick note about my money, I'm not using ALL of my money earned to build my bankroll up. I really DO want to build it up but I also have expenses, so if you see some incongruity in my numbers, I probably spent a few of the dollars I earned. Alright... cool. Peace out.
