A few more hours

Had a few hours today to play before class and here are the results from my 1 cent/2 cent limits:

Ending PokerStars Account: $16.30
Total Gain/Loss from this session: $2.55

YES! I'm tearing that game a new a-hole. Not really, but the play does seem to be really bad, with lots of people limping in at middle position with things like Qc6c and such.

I think I'm doing better as well, since I've stopped playing the suited connectors as much in middle position. I love those hands, but I think they make me a worse player because I love playing with them so much. Also, I'm raising more pots with pocket pairs, and making a lot of laydowns that I know I need to. The thing that's helping me the most though: thinking about what my opponent might have. I've been doing pretty well at that, and I think I can keep winning as long as I keep playing tight and not ONLY playing my own cards.

Less than $10 to go til I go up a level. Hopefully I'll be able to hang at the 2cent/5cent level as well as I do at the 1cent/2cent, though I think it'll be a little tougher since a lot of people who think they suck will stay at the 1cent/2cent. We'll see though, I might get surprised.
